By signing up to or using PodiiDoc, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. About these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of PodiiDoc (the "Service"), operated by PodiiDoc ("we", "us", "our") and available at podiidoc.com.

2. Who can use PodiiDoc

To use PodiiDoc, you must be:

18 years of age or older;
a doctor registered with, or training under, the General Medical Council (GMC), holding a valid GMC number and job role/training grade, both of which you self-declare and sign at sign-up; and
able to provide a genuine, working email address for verification.

By signing up, you confirm the above and that all details you provide, including your GMC number and job role, are accurate and your own.

3. What PodiiDoc does — and doesn't do

PodiiDoc is a matching service. We use the information you provide (your exam or interview, sitting timeline, availability, strengths and weaknesses, and preferences) to suggest and form study "pods" with other verified users. Once a pod is formed and every member has accepted and paid, we share chosen contact details within the pod and generate a suggested timetable of overlapping availability.

PodiiDoc does not:

run, host or supervise study sessions or their content;
provide tuition, teaching materials, or any exam or interview outcome guarantee;
verify your identity beyond an email address check and your own signed GMC/job-role declaration — we do not check your GMC number against the public register; or
guarantee that you will be matched, or matched within any particular time.

4. Verification & accuracy

We verify a working email address and require a signed declaration that your GMC number, job role and other details are accurate and your own. Any email address can be used to sign up; if you verify an NHS.net, NHS Wales, NHS Scotland or hospital trust (.nhs.uk) address specifically, your profile carries an additional "NHS email verified" badge, but this isn't required to use the Service. We do not check your GMC number against the public GMC register. This is not a full identity check. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for your own conduct within any pod. If we believe your details are false, or your GMC registration has lapsed or been restricted, we may suspend or remove your account.

5. Fees

Signing up, completing the questionnaire, being matched and rematching are all free. Accepting a pod invite takes you straight to paying a flat fee of £10 (inc. VAT), via our payment provider (Stripe), within your 72-hour invite window. This is not a subscription and isn't charged again unless you join another pod. Your pod only proceeds if at least 2 people end up joining and paying; if it doesn't reach that within the window, it's dissolved and anyone who paid is automatically refunded in full via Stripe — you don't need to contact us for this. Refunds outside of that automatic case are considered on a case-by-case basis — email podiidoc@gmail.com for any billing issue.

6. Your conduct

When using PodiiDoc, and within any pod, you agree not to:

misrepresent your identity, GMC status, or any information you provide;
harass, discriminate against, or behave inappropriately towards other members;
use the Service for any purpose other than genuine exam or interview study-pod matching; or
attempt to circumvent our verification, matching or payment processes.

We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these Terms.

7. Pod conduct & liability

Once matched, it's entirely up to pod members how, when and whether they meet or study together. PodiiDoc facilitates the introduction and suggests a timetable, but has no control over, and is not responsible or liable for, what happens between members off-platform, including in-person meetings, content shared, or advice given. We strongly recommend starting with a video call (such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom) before considering meeting in person, and using your own judgement about personal safety at all times.

8. Intellectual property

All content, branding, design and code on PodiiDoc, including the PodiiDoc name and logo, is © 2026 PodiiDoc and may not be copied, reproduced or used without our prior written permission, except as reasonably necessary to use the Service.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PodiiDoc is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the actions of other users. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use PodiiDoc after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
